A walk on Ile de la Cité, a view of Notre Dame cathedral, we see the flower market, the medieval kings’ palace which became the prison of the Revolution, the River Seine, Paris’ oldest bridge, the imposing City Hall, the new pyramid at the Louvre, the Tuileries gardens, the fateful place de la Concorde where the guillotine stood, and view the famous Avenue des Champs Elysées, the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Stop for a lunch of your choice in a restaurant in the Latin Quarter, the guide stays with you for lunch and helps you order and explains French customs. In the afternoon, either travel by bus or metro to view the Eiffel Tower and then see the Champs Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe, or visit the charming neighbourhood of Montmartre, famous for its association with artists, before returning to the station. Price depends on the length of time involved, starting at 270€ for 3 hours and 330€ for 4.
A guide for a full day costs 500€. Price may vary with the number of people or time requirements. Refreshments and transport not included. We recommend public transport which is both cheap and efficient, and provides an authentic experience. (The guide is your guest for meals and refreshments).
